     Agriculture as the dominant sector of the economy Rembang with a contribution of 43.09 per cent in 2013. As many as 217 850 (46.67 percent) of the population in Rembang aged 15 years and over working in the agricultural sector (Sakernas 2013). Therefore, the welfare of farmers become an important priority tekait Kabuapaten improved quality of life in Apex. One of the indicators that can be used in measuring the level of welfare of farmers is Farmers Exchange Index (NTP).

     The data used for the calculation of NTP is the data obtained through a survey of rural prices (SHPed). SHPed done on a monthly basis using HKD documents and documents HD. Document HKD to record consumer prices of various goods and services needed in rural areas, while the HD documents to record producer prices of agricultural commodities and also retail prices of goods and services that are part of the cost of agricultural production process.

     To improve data quality SHPed as the implementation of bureaucratic reform implementation, on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015, BPS Rembang hold refreshing Rural Price Survey (SHPed). Refreshing activity was expressed with the direction of the Head of BPS district. Apex was accompanied by the Head of Administration and Head of Distribution Statistics by highlighting problems Reforms that are currently being run by all insane BPS. Over Reforms, all enumerators in the field is expected to finish the job they timely.

     Refreshing activities tinged with a lot of discussions led by Drs. Sumitro, Head of Distribution Statistics Section, with participants of all CWC (enumerator SHPed) and staff. Refreshing SHPed lasted from 09:30 until 12:00 hours, discussing many things starting with a review of understanding SHPed SHPed adhering to the latest guidebook. Discussion about the concepts and definitions, methodologies and filling an important part list are emphasized to obtain consistent data and can be compared between regions and over time. On this occasion also displayed and evaluated the results SHPed up to January 2015 and continued with a discussion of issues related to the implementation of SHPed.

     Hopefully with refreshing already implemented a stimulus to improving the quality of data SHPed particular and other survey data in general. (Car)
