"Kamisan" at BPS of Rembang Regency

        On the sidelines of the busy work, employees at BPS Rembang District took a moment after the morning apple to share knowledge (knowledge sharing). The activity became a new tradition in 2017 called "Kamisan". Kamisan is an activity of sharing knowledge / knowledge about the statistics, ranging from layout publication, how to make infographics, writing scientific papers, methods of statistical analysis and so on. Why is it called Kamisan? Because the activity is held on Thursday every 2 (two) weeks, except in busy month Kamisan implemented once a month.

         Kamisan idea comes from some employees who want to advance BPS Regency of Rembang. Kamisan is a place to exchange ideas and share information from people who do not know to know / understand about the topic discussed. Every employee is given the opportunity to fill Kamisan according to his area of ​​expertise. The activity aims to motivate the staffs and functional to develop scientific writing / journals, improve the quality of publications BPS Rembang Regency, and improve the quality of BPS Rembang Regency.

         Until April 2017, Kamisan has been implemented 3 (three) times, the first beginning of March, the second end of March, and the third third week of April. The first topic discussed was "Revenue Distribution Simulation of Poverty Reduction in Rembang by Pen's Parade", the second topic is "The Impact of Economic Growth and Pro Poor Growth Index in Rembang", and the third topic is "Regression Analysis Logistics with SPSS ". Hopefully the future Kamisan tradition can be carried out continuously (continuously) and running smoothly. (SI)
