Briefing IMK Annual Listing 2017 BPS Kabupaten Rembang

Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) again held a survey of Micro and Small Industry (IMK). The Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) is a sample survey of micro-enterprises (with a labor force of 1-4 people) and small industrial enterprises (with a workforce of 5-19 people).
In general, IMK Annual survey aims to find out the profile of Micro and Small Industry (IMK) potential areas in Indonesia, especially in Kabupaten Rembang which can be used as material for planning macro economic activity. The target of the enumeration includes the business / micro industrial enterprise with the number of manpower 1 s.d. 4 people and small industry with a lot of labor 5 s.d. 19 people including businessman / owner.
Annual IMK activities are conducted through the listing and enumeration stages of business / micro and small business units. Prior to the start of IMK survey listing activity, a briefing officer will be held. The briefing activity is intended to refresh or remind the concept of definitions, questionnaire filling procedures and briefing of new materials related to the implementation of the IMK survey.
BPS Kabupaten Rembang held a 1-day IMK Briefing held on 3 October 2017 at the Office Room of BPS Office of Rembang Regency. The participants of the briefing were 20 participants consisting of 14 CWCs as listing officers (PCL) and 4 persons / staff as supervisors (PML). Briefing was opened by the Head of BPS of Rembang Regency, Amirudin, S.Si, MMSI accompanied by Head of Production Statistics, Drs. Sumitro and the delivery of IMK materials were guided by Mustaghwiroh, S.Stat, production section staff, BPS Kabupaten Rembang. In his speech, Head of BPS of Rembang Regency expects that the participants will be able to understand the concept / definition and Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) that have been given by the instructor to be applied in the field later. Head of RPS BPS also give some explanation related to IMK survey and advise that officer fulfill / keep the schedule that has been determined, many digging information (probing) from respondent to get accurate data, and must prioritize the quality of data generated.
For Rembang regency itself the sample number of IMK 2017 listing is 30 census blocks. Each officer has an average task load of 2-3 census blocks. The schedule of IMK listing activity is from 1 to 20 October 2017 and enumeration date 1-28 November 2017.
Hopefully the material presented at the time of the briefing can be the provision and guidance for the participants that can be applied in the field and it is expected that the implementation of IMK 2017 listing can run smoothly, finish on time and later the result can give profiles and data of micro and small industry sectors especially to Regency of Rembang.
