"Central Java" Province with the Highest National Online Population Census Response

Monday (7/13), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) awarded Central Java as the first highest province with the most participating population in the 2020 Online Population Census.

The award was handed over directly by the Head of Central Java BPS, Sentot Bangun Widoyono to the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, Monday (07/13/2020). To Ganjar, Sentot explained that Central Java was the province with the highest participation in the 2020 Online population census.

"From the Online Population Census that was held in mid-February to May 2020, Central Java's response was highest in Indonesia. If the national recorded a response of 53 million people, Central Java contributed 9.6 million people and the highest compared to other regions," Sentot said.

Ganjar would like to thank the people of Central Java who have enthusiastically supported the 2020 Online Population Census program. According to him, the response of the community was very helpful in making the data more accurate.
