New Position Towards a Dynamic Bureaucratic Order

In 2021 BPS is preparing to face new organizational governance. The structural bureaucracy that has been implemented for a long time has now been transformed into a functional order as an effort to create a dynamic, globally competitive and responsive bureaucracy. Bureaucratic Reform is one of the pillars of massive improvement in the governance structure in Indonesia. Various attempts were made to create a more effective and efficient government structure.

In line with that, this Wednesday (30/12), BPS Kabupaten Rembang attended the inauguration ceremony for the equalization of structural positions to functional positions held by BPS for Central Java Province. This inauguration was a follow-up to the PAN-RB Ministerial Regulation No. 28 of 2019 concerning the equalization of administrative positions into functional positions.
 
The inauguration was chaired directly by the Head of Central Java Province BPS, Sentot Bangun Widoyono and attended by structural officials in the Central Java Province BPS ranks and the ranks of District / City BPS in Central Java who were inaugurated virtually through zoom meetings with the application of health protocols.

In his remarks, he said that equality must be interpreted as a joint effort to create a bureaucracy that is responsive, dynamic, and globally competitive. This will be a major contribution to the progress of BPS. "Change Mindset" is one of the important points that he conveyed to all the officials who were appointed.

Congratulations to all appointed officials. Hopefully we can work more professionally, with integrity and trust. Welcome to enter a new chapter of bureaucracy. Let's work together to create a bureaucracy at BPS in Central Java (and Rembang in particular, red) that is more dynamic and professional in order to realize good governance. Hopefully in the future BPS will be better and able to carry out the mandate as a provider of quality data. (Jq)
