Wilkerstat ST2023 Gelombangl I Geospatial Framework Update Officer Training

In 2023, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will carry out the 2023 Agricultural Census which is the 7th agricultural census. One of the preparatory activities for ST2023 is updating the Geospatial Framework and Contents of the Statistical Work Area. This activity was carried out in order to update the regional master framework as a basis for planning in the implementation of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023).

In terms of preparing this framework, BPS of Rembang Regency held field officer training in order to update the geospatial framework and ST2023 wilkerstat content, which was divided into 3 (three) waves. Gel I (15-16 February 2022), Gel II (17-18 February 2022) and Gel III (22-23 February 2022).

Located at the Gajah Mada Hotel, Rembang, the first batch of training, today (15/2), was opened directly by the Head of BPS for Rembang Regency, Henri Wagiyanto. The training was attended by 56 participants divided into 2 classes with Regional Instructors M. Heru Achiruzaman and Sumitro from BPS Rembang Regency. During the training, all participants implemented strict health protocols.

The training materials delivered by the instructor in the ST2023 wilkerstat updating activity started from concepts, definitions, methodologies, to practicing the wilkerstat application. The field mapping activity will be carried out on 1-31 March 2022.

It is hoped that this training will be the beginning of the success of updating the geospatial framework and contents of the ST2023 wilkerstat as a whole.
