2023 Consumer Price Survey Officer Briefing

Starting 2023, BPS Rembang Regency held a Consumer Price Survey (SHK) briefing, Wednesday 4 January 2023. The briefing was opened by the Head of BPS Rembang Regency, Teguh Iman Santoso, with 2 officers from statistical partners participating. The briefing was guided by Winarso from the Distribution Statistics Working Team.

The Consumer Price Survey (SHK) is a survey of transaction prices that occur between sellers (retailers) and buyers (consumers). This survey aims to capture price movements of goods/services commonly consumed by the public and used as a basis for calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Price surveys are conducted weekly, biweekly and monthly. It is hoped that the survey will run smoothly and produce complete, accurate and timely data. (bps3317)
