Abstract

Regional development requires the availability of data up to the smallest level of territory. Especially in the period of regional autonomy, the need is increasing in frequency, and one of the strategic data required is the gross regional domestic product (GRDP). The data can be used for various purposes, such as supporting data for the study of economic models, formulation of policies, taxation and so on. The calculation of GRDP can be done through three approaches, namely the approach of production, expenditure, and income. The GRDP figures published in this publication are the results of calculations from the expenditure approach. In addition, the figure uses the base year of 2010, as well as adopting the concept of System of National Accounts (SNA) 2008 as recommended by the United Nations.
