One survey conducted by BPS regularly every year is the National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS). Through Susenas collected data related to the socio-economic conditions of society include health conditions, education, fertility, family planning, housing and other social and economic conditions. Data and indicators of susenas have been widely used and regarded as one of the crucial evidence that can be useful for planning, monitoring and evaluation of government programs.
Susenas 2015 held two (2) times a year, respectively in March and September. Enumeration of March with a large sample size to produce representative data to the district / city level, enumeration in September with a small sample size to produce representative data only for the provincial and national estimates. Susenas started with the updating of the household charge in selected census block. Armed with a map of census block, the officer will check the existence of households listed in the appropriate preprinted field conditions and will add a household that does not exist in a preprinted list. Updates are also performed on the map by adjusting the map SP2010-WB with actual conditions.

In updating the household, also asked the highest education attained by the head of the household and the number of household members, the remainder of each census block will be selected sample of 10 (ten) of households to be enumerated socioeconomic conditions.

Refreshing officer before the updating of census blocks, namely on 17-18 February 2015 considered to be effective because the implementation is not found significant errors. Smooth and continuous communication between officers and supervisors make updates completion target households and buildings in selected census block can be fulfilled.
