Training Officer: Business Cost Structure Survey of Food Crops and Livestock (SOUT 2017)

Development in the agricultural sector but aims to increase agricultural production as well as to improve the welfare of farm households. Subsector in the agricultural sector, which plays an important role in meeting the needs of society are food and protein food crops and livestock. It required the data to describe the structure of business expenses, household profiles and socio-economic conditions of household food crops and livestock enterprises. In order to meet the needs of the data is carried out surveys Business Cost Structure Food Crops and Livestock 2017 (Sout 2017).

Documenting Sout survey conducted every 3 years where the last execution in 2014 ago. Sout 2017 is a further point of the Agriculture Census 2013. Only in 2017 Sout more emphasis on the cost structure of the business sector of food crops and livestock.

The aim of Sout 2017:

• obtain accurate statistical data on crops and livestock panagan form a clear picture of the cost structure of the business household food crops and livestock in Indonesia
• Obtaining data on utilization profile food crops and livestock
• Obtaining data on the socio-economic situation of domestic food crops and livestock business

2017 Sout conducted throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. Scope of food crops includes 8 (eight) commodities, namely rice paddy, dry rice, corn, kdelai, peanuts, green beans, cassava and sweet potatoes. Meanwhile, farm commodity coverage includes twelve (12) animals, the buffalo, dairy cows, beef cattle, swine, sheep, goat, chicken, broiler, laying chicken, duck, duck and rabbit pieces manila.

In order to prepare for implementation in the field later on, then do the training of prospective officers, 2017 Sout Sout officer training in 2017 in Central Java is divided into six (6) TC, the TC Banyumas, Magelang, Solo, Pati, Semarang, and Pemalang.

For TC. Starch participants from District Pati, Kudus, Jepara, Apex and Blora. The training was held at the Hotel Safin, Pati many as two waves, namely 14-18 March 2017 (wave i) and 19-23 March 2017 (Wave II).

To Rembang number of participants as many as 40 people consisting of an organic of 25 people and 15 people from the Partners Statistics. PML number as many as 10 people and PCL 30. Training participants are divided in two (2) waves. Gel I and II respectively of 20 participants. The opening of the training was opened by the Head of BPS Pati, Drs. Manggus Suryono. In his speech he is expecting to potential Sout officer in 2017 order of duty will be implemented with full responsibility, on time, according to SOP and maintain quality. Besides, the officers must understand training materials, both related to the concept of the definition, methodology and how to fill out the questionnaire is good and right in accordance been taught by the instructor.

Hopefully the material presented during the training instructor may be a provision and guidance for participants that can later be applied in the field and the expected time of implementation of the 2017 Sout can achieve optimal results, on time and run smoothly and produce quality data. (SR)
