Supervision of Construction Expansion Index Data Survey (IKK) BPS of Rembang Regency

One of the activities from the distribution statistics section is the Construction Expansion Index Survey (IKK). IKK is a price index that describes the level of cost of construction of a district / city. IKK data is obtained from the results of the Expensive Price Survey Special construction of building materials / construction, heavy equipment rental, and construction services wages carried out in all districts / cities in Selindo.

The main objective of calculating the Construction Expansion Index (IKK) is to provide basic data in the framework of a balance fund policy and is primarily used as one in calculating the General Allocation Fund (DAU).

In Rembang, there are 4 samples of IKK and the implementation is done quarterly.

In the context of monitoring and efforts to safeguard the quality of IKK data, the Central Java Provincial BPS conducted quality monitoring by supervising the District / City BPS. For Rembang Regency itself, the supervision officer from Central Java BPS is Mr. Eko Suharto. Together with field officers and accompanied by Head of Distribution Statistics of Rembang Regency, Winarso, SST conducted field checks with samples of building shops and heavy equipment rentals. Respondents who were sampled received well the arrival of officers and were able to provide actual information on questions raised by data collection and supervision officers. Good communication and cooperation between the employers (respondents) and BPS. There are a number of things that become obstacles (suggestions and input) from the respondent related to the questionnaire (questionnaire) and even then it has been received by supervision for further questioning will be asked to the Republic of Indonesia BPS to find a solution to the problem.

And the hope is that with the opening of respondents in providing information related to IKK data, as early as possible the errors and lack of data in the field can be minimized so that the resulting data becomes more accurate and reliable so that the quality of IKK data is maintained. (SR)
