Public Speaking Knowledge Sharing

This morning, Thursday 2 January 2020 was the first day of coming to work in early 2020, BPS in Rembang District held a Public Speaking Knowledge Sharing. This event is one part of the Change Agent Network (CAN) program and as a resource person is CAN BPS BPS in Rembang 2019-2020, Nanda Ilyas Syukur, SST (Staff of Distribution Statistics Section).

Public Speaking is a form of verbal communication about something that is conveyed to many people (audience). Public speaking is not just talking to convey something in front of a lot of people, but must have powerful speaking, the words conveyed must be structured and directed.

Public speaking material that is delivered is how to overcome nervousness (impulse) when speaking in front of an audience, One way is to master the material that will be delivered when communicating with the audience and delivered casually (relaxed).

How about it with you. Are you used to speaking in front of an audience / public?
In public speaking we must focus on the message or the material that will be conveyed not on ourselves. Focus on important things not trivial things. The purpose of this knowledge sharing is to improve the ability of public speaking especially for BPS staff in Rembang Regency. With this transfer of knowledge, it will certainly increase knowledge and insight and foster a sense of togetherness among fellow employees. Knowledge that is very useful to be applied in improving the quality of statistics.

In the future this knowledge sharing agenda will be filled by colleagues from structural officials and expert statisticians with interesting material. Hopefully this will be the first step in guarding changes in the work culture in the BPS Regency of Rembang so that productivity does not become a wasted output.

Hopefully what has been conveyed in this Knowledge Sharing event will be useful knowledge for all BPS colleagues in Rembang Regency. (QNerwil)
