February 11, 2020 | BPS Activities

The needs of the community for fast, accurate and relevant information are increasing. In 2020, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) requires work units (satker) in the regions to accelerate the release of strategic data publications such as Regions in Numbers (DDA) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). If both of these publications were released in the middle of the year, then for 2020 it will be released at the beginning of the year, which is the end of February.

In order to realize this, coordination with OPD, vertical agencies, BUMN / BUMD, TNI / Polri and others as sectoral data producers is needed, which was held on Monday, 10 February 2020 at the Hall of the Regional Development Planning Board of Rembang Regency and the event was opened by the Head of Information and Public Communication, Rembang Regency Communication and Information Agency, Hery Kristiono, S.STP, M.Kom.

As the speakers in this event, Herhardana, S.Si (Head of IPDS BPS Section of Kabuapten Rembang) and Sukaryo (IPDS Section Staff). The acceleration of sectoral data collection is done as a form of BPS's commitment to provide fast and accurate data. Support and cooperation from all sectoral data producers are expected to be related to the acceleration of sectoral data collection so that the publication of the strategic data can be released on time.
