The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia was forced to change the course of almost all policies. One of them is learning about the 2020 Population Census for census officers. There is no longer learning in hotels as is usually done by BPS. As a result of the pandemic, learning is now not done face-to-face but is done virtually (online) as distance learning. This is one form of change that inevitably we have to be ready in everything. Stay passionate for change for the better.

For census officer learning, in addition to learning through files received from each Koseka, census officers are also required to study field tasks and mechanisms independently through material broadcast by TVRI from 26 to 30 August 2020 at 16.00 - 17.00 WIB and RRI PRO3 FM on 31 August to 5 September 2020 at the same time.

The Census Officer can select any time before field activities begin to listen to the broadcast and report to their respective Koseka. And Koseka can monitor the development of independent learning by Census Officers and report online every day from 26 August 2020 to 1 September 2020.

It is also hoped that the Head of SLS can watch TVRI / RRI related to the population census so that he knows his duties and can assist census officers properly.

This online learning is very helpful for census officers. With enthusiasm and enthusiasm, the census officers listened to the explanation of the concept of population, the procedure for conducting the census, checking the population list and how to verify the field. Several examples of cases in the field were also presented regarding the verification and examination of population data. Hopefully this is useful and can add insight into this independent learning.
