Food security is very important to be strengthened in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic. Currently the government through the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) is promoting breakthroughs and innovations for food security, one of which is by strengthening the implementation of food diversification. The importance of food diversification is an effort and at the same time the right solution in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only rice commodities, this nation is very rich in non-rice commodities, namely crops. So with this food diversification is one way to achieve rice self-sufficiency by reducing rice consumption so that total consumption does not exceed production. In addition, diversification also varies the staple food consumed so that it does not focus on just one type. .................. #SahabatData, still in subround III, BPS Rembang Regency through the KSK of Pancur sub-district carried out palawija ubinan (cassava commodity) on 27 October 2020 in Karaskepoh village, Pancur sub-district, for 2 plots. Ubinan is a way to see the estimated yield of rice or secondary crops through sample points by measuring 2.5 x 2.5 m², then the results are measured and weighed. These results can be used as the basis for determining production in 1 ha. The purpose of this tubular sampling is to determine the estimated yield of plant production in an area of 1 ha. Hopefully the results of this activity can be used as a basis for policy making so that food security can be realized through food self-sufficiency. (Jq)
