Housing Profile of Rembang Regency 2018

Housing is one of the primary human needs besides clothing and food needs. In addition to having a primary function as a shelter, the house also functions as a means of family coaching, and is an asset for its owner.

In 2018 there were 94.84 percent of households in Rembang Regency living in their own homes, down from 94.98 percent in 2017. The second largest percentage was found in households that occupy free rental homes at 4.21 percent and followed by contract homes / rent of 0.58 percent.

In general, most households already occupy residential buildings that meet reasonably good quality standards. Households using tile / concrete roof types, walls, and floor area per capita of at least 8 square meters in 2018 increase compared to 2017.

In addition to the condition of residential buildings, ownership of facilities or household equipment is also important in providing comfort and health for its residents. Overall it increased in 2018 compared to 2017. The percentage of households that had basic facilities such as lighting facilities, drinking water / clean water and defecation had reached more than 70 percent.
