       The quarterly small and micro industry survey (IMK) is a survey conducted on a sample basis with the target of small and medium scale industrial enterprises / companies with a work force ranging from 1 s.d 19 people and carried out routinely every three months of the year. The quarterly IMK survey, conducted since 2011, is used as a source of data in calculating the growth of quarterly IMK production. The first quarter is implemented in the period of January-March, the second quarter of April-June period, the third quarter of the period July-September, and the fourth quarter period October-December. The purpose and benefits of the activity is to know the growth and profile of the micro and small industry sectors in general with quarterly time references.

        In the first quarter of April 2017, the first quarter IMK survey was conducted to collect the data from January-March 2017. The quarterly IMK survey activity was preceded by the registration of business households / micro and small enterprises (listing) in a selected census block In March 2017. For Kabupaten Rembang, the quarterly IMK survey activity listing 2017 was conducted on four selected census blocks, namely Sambong Village and Kenongo Village, Sedan Sub-district, Pragu Village, Sulang District and Leran Village, Sluke Sub-District. Based on the results of the listing, there were 44 companies / companies as the selected sample of quarterly survey of IMK 2017 which will be re-visited to get more complete data / information about production cost and production value according to sample sample enumeration questionnaire (VIMK-S List). And the sample households will be re-visited in the next quarter sample enumeration to see the progress of the IMK business during 2017.

        As in the implementation of the previous quarterly IMK survey, this time also carried out in teams with consideration of how the team work can further lighten the workload of officers and is expected to be completed more quickly considering the implementation schedule of IMK survey is not so long that starting from 1 to 11 April 2017 already have to Done. Therefore, officers must be good at arranging time in order to complete all job responsibilities both IMK survey and other tasks while still paying attention to the quality of data generated. As the enumerator (PCL) officer is the Kecamatan Statistics Coordinator (KSK) and staff while the supervisor (PML) is organic from the production statistics section.

        Given this survey, it is expected that the availability of data and information on IMK production growth, the number of manpower, labor expenditure, input and output structure and other information related to micro and small scale industry.

        Finally, the implementation of the Second Quarterly IMK Survey in Rembang Regency runs smoothly, and is completed on time. With a team enumeration and supervised by the PML IMK survey can be completed within a day for field enumeration and still leaves sufficient time for examination of documents before being sent to BPS Central Java Province. Constraints that occur at the time of data collection can be overcome and the resulting data still put forward the quality and accuracy. (Vie)
