        One of the routine BPS activities in the production statistics section is a sample tile survey in order to collect data on the productivity of food crops (rice and palawija). The survey applies a combination of two methods: direct measurement of selected tile plots and interview methods to sample farmers. The tile survey was conducted annually in three subround periods, namely subround / SR I (January-April period), SR II (May-August period), and SR III (September-December period). So it has become a routine before the end of a subround then the production section has to prepare for the next subround tile activity. Among them is the preparation of listing activities / household registration according to the allocation of census block sample list (DSBS) and that is not less important is the preparation of the allocation of officers and also the allocation of documents.

        The stages of the tile survey activity on each subround begins with household listing activities to obtain a complete list of complete and up-to-date household names and addresses that cultivate crops and obtain estimates of harvest months in the subround period. Based on the results of the listing after the processing will be done sampling of households where later officers will make a direct measurement of food crop productivity at the time the farmer is harvesting.

         Due to the large number of activities to be carried out by organic BPS in this April, so that the tiling listing activity normally done by CWC and staff for SR II 2017 this time the listing officer for PCL is entirely carried out by the statistical partner while the PML officer is the staff. Although selected partner personnel are partners who frequently participate in activities at BPS but in order to maintain the quality of the listing data generated, BPS Kabupaten Rembang holds a breifing officer listing on April 18, 2017 in the BPS hall of Rembang Regency. Breifing was followed by 21 partners as PCL and 9 staff as PML with instructors from production satistic sections. The event was opened by Drs. Sumitro as Head of Production Statistics represents Head of BPS of Rembang Regency and appealed to officers to follow breifing well so that they can understand the material given by the instructor and can carry out the listing activity later with high responsibility and finish it according to the time schedule specified.

         In breifing activities the instructor explains the tile survey material according to the standard operating system (SOP) related to the concepts and definitions, procedures and procedures for filling out the listing list, as well as the schedule of activities. The activities also took place smoothly and were quite communicative between the instructor and the participants with an active discussion of the material that had not been understood and also based on the experience of the participants during the field survey.

        With this breifing activity, it is expected to be a provision and guidance of officers to be applied in the field and can complete the task of updating the household according to schedule and still put forward the quality and accuracy of data. (Vie)
