Blood Donor For Others

        BPS Kabupaten Rembang together with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Rembang regency held a blood donation event on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 which coincided with the commemoration of National Education Day. Activities that are routine agenda once every 3 months is one manifestation of care to others and caring in helping the availability of blood for people in Rembang regency.

        This social event was followed by donors from BPS employees of Rembang Regency who were willing to donate their blood. One that should be admired is the spirit of friends who still want to donate blood even though previously rejected and declared not qualified for reasons of unfavorable health conditions such as Haemoglobin (HB) low and menstrual conditions.

        This activity lasted about 3 hours guided by 2 officers from PMI Kabupaten Rembang. Participants who have contributed donated their blood to receive food / soft drinks and vitamins to restore physical condition.

        The result of blood donation activities will surely increase the stock of blood supply in PMI which later will be distributed by PMI to those who need blood. One of them is to the hospitals in Rembang Regency. Later blood will be very beneficial for people in need.

        Hopefully future BPS Rembang Regency still can carry out this blood donor activity and hope donors also increase. Spirit! Come on blood donation. With blood donors in addition to being able to save the lives of others also nourish our body with renewable blood. (SR)
