One of the surveys from the Regional Balance Sheet and Statistical Analysis section is a survey on PMTB disaggregation preparation. This survey for two years has been carried out annually. The PMTB survey is closely related to investment. Investment is one of the most important instruments for a country's economy. Because investment will encourage economic growth. The development of the business world cannot be separated from the improvement of the investment climate and job creation. For this reason, data on investment information is needed as a basis for government programs.

The target activity is the availability of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) data or better known as investment which has been disaggregated according to business fields and institutions.

Detailed PMTB data is needed by the government in planning more realistic and specific economic growth targets and is useful in budget allocation policies. For the business world, the data generated from this activity can provide information on the position and estimated demand and provision of investment so that it helps in developing business strategies.

This PMTB survey was carried out throughout Indonesia. The field officers are organic BPS (Rembang Regency, there are 7 survey samples, all of which are Dinas (MI 01-08) samples, namely DKKPAD, Licensing and Investment, Maritime, Syahbandar, Plantation, Animal Husbandry, and Horticulture. The schedule for conducting this survey is from May to June 2020.

The government imposed a New Normal order, that is, a new order of living habits in the midst of Pandemic Covid-19. And in the midst of the co-19 pandemic as officers now conduct data collection in the field by visiting the department directly while still complying with health protocols, washing hands with soap, wearing masks and keeping a distance with respondents and other employees. In addition to direct face-to-face meetings, further data confirmation is done online via WA / by telephone with respondents.

Let's all follow and understand the rules or new habits of life to avoid Covid-19. Begin we can make peace with Covid-19. However Covid-19 will not disappear and will remain as long as there is no vaccine while the economy must continue.  (JQ)
