Collecting Individual Construction Survey (SKP) 2020

One survey conducted by BPS is the Individual Construction Survey or abbreviated as SKP. This survey aims to collect construction business data regarding the profile, presence, distribution, activities and characteristics of the construction business carried out by individuals.

This year SKP activities were carried out in the middle of a pandemic. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, officers in collecting data in the field of discipline follow the health protocol.

In Rembang, the number of SKP samples is 50 business samples. The clerk is the staff and staff. The number of officers was 8 people, 6 people as field enumerators and 2 people as field supervisors. Each enumerator works 8-10 samples with a schedule for implementation on 15-30 June 2020.

The types of individual construction businesses that are sampled include the business of making artesian wells, building construction, electrical construction and asphalting.

The obstacle encountered by the officers when going to the field was the difficulty in meeting the respondent because the respondent was working and returned in the afternoon. Finally the officer comes back in the afternoon or the officer makes an appointment in advance when to meet with the respondent for direct interviews. Another obstacle is the difficulty of respondents to recall the number of projects that have been implemented in the past year.

Hopefully the existing obstacles can be overcome properly soon. Hoping the resulting data can provide a real portrait of the condition of the construction business (individual, red) in Rembang Regency. (JQ)
