The 2020 Excavation Survey

The Annual Survey of Industrial Excavation and Construction Materials Business was conducted by the Central Statistics Agency throughout Indonesia since 2005. Starting in 2011 for the 2010 data the excavation questionnaire was divided into 2, the Galian URT Questionnaire for household businesses, and BH Galian for legal entities.

The purpose and benefits of this survey are to obtain data on excavations used as development planning and also to obtain uptodate excavation company directories.

In Rembang, there were 24 business samples in the URT excavation survey, while those in legal entities were 13 companies. Data collection in the field is carried out by BPS organics, namely the District Statistics Coordinator (KSK) with a URT schedule for June 2020 and a Legal Entity for June-July 2020.

Officers in the field of data collection by directly visiting the business unit / company while continuing to implement the Covid-19 health protocol, namely wearing masks, handsanitizers, washing hands with soap and keeping distance with respondents. The legal entity company usually asks for a questionnaire to be left to be filled out by the company while for the URT in addition to direct interviews, sometimes respondents also ask for a questionnaire to be left. To further confirm the data, the officer only needs to confirm by telephone or by visiting the company / business unit directly
