Wednesday, 23 November 2022 BPS Rembang Regency held an Evaluation Meeting on the Results of the 2022 Cost of Living Survey (SBH2022) Quarter I and II at Pollos Hotel & Gallery Rembang. The event was opened by the Head of Rembang Regency BPS, Teguh Iman Santoso, and was attended by all 2022 SBH officers. The presentation of the evaluation was guided by Winarso from the Rembang Regency BPS Distribution work team.

This evaluation meeting was held after the completion of field activities in Quarters I and II. The main objective is to evaluate field results, both in the first and second quarters and ensure that the next quarter's field activities are even better.

In his remarks, the Head of the Rembang Regency BPS said that Rembang Regency is one of the regencies that will be holding the 2022 Cost of Living Survey (SBH). the new commodity weighing and package charts in calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI). He also conveyed the importance of inflation data and the quality of the data which is determined by the quality of the SBH data that is currently being collected. It is hoped that officers will dig up more information regarding commodity packages consumed by households and also the reasonable amount of consumption.

Furthermore, an evaluation of the results of the first and second quarters of SBH was submitted by Winarso. In the evaluation, temporary commodity packages are displayed based on data for the first and second quarters of 2022. Technically the evaluation discusses optimizing the quality of the 2022 SBH data, handling errors, both in the field and processing, as well as tools that can facilitate repair.

It is hoped that the 2022 SBH in Rembang Regency will be able to provide CPI data as a basis for calculating inflation/deflation, which are important economic indicators in determining government policy. With proper and accurate data collection, it is hoped that the 2022 SBH goals can be achieved properly.
