December 10, 2018 | Other Activities

BPS of Rembang Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Development of Sectoral Statistical Data and Discussion of District Publication Data in 2018 for the second time. The event was held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the BPS Rembang Regency Hall. Acting as a resource person is the Head of BPS of Rembang Regency, Henri Wagiyanto, S.Pt, M.Ec.Dev, MA and Kasi IPDS, Herhardana, S.Si.
The event was attended by all Dinas / SKPD and related institutions in the Rembang Regency Government as well as the organic BPS of Rembang Regency. Also present and also pleased to give direction in the opening of the FGD, Setdakab Rembang, Drs. Subakti.
In his remarks he said that the data was important as the main reference for policy, development planning among government and other data users. Therefore, this must be a concern for all of us in building a better and more advanced development.
Furthermore, Mr. Henri Wagiyanto in his explanation explained in detail related to sectoral statistical data, basic and special statistical data, explaining the strategy of collaboration between BPS and related agencies to finalize data quality, conditions and methodology. Besides that, he also explained about macro data produced by BPS of Rembang Regency, such as inflation, poverty, unemployment, labor force, economic growth, HDI and others.
The next presentation from Mr. Herhardana explained the preparation of 2018 Regional In Numbers (DDA) publications. Evaluation and problems that occurred during the preparation of the DDA were the inclusion of documents / data from the Service that had not reached 100 percent, considering that DDA data 80 percent came from official data. (sectoral data), data availability that is not sustainable, changes in data between times are extreme, and data consistency problems.
It is expected that this FGD can produce sectoral data with one data to better address the challenges of Rembang development. Besides that, it is also to improve the quality and improvement of DDA data, considering that DDA is the main reference publication used for planning, evaluation and the basis for making government policies.
