KSA survey September 2020

In the midst of BPS's busy schedule at the end of the September 2020 Population Census, a BPS survey that is no less important is the KSA Survey, which is carried out in the last seven days of each month.

Even though they are still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, our officers have not diminished their steps and enthusiasm in completing this task. As usual in this survey, officers will go to the field to observe the growth phase of rice and corn commodities in each sub-segment.

With the ASF method, it is hoped that the harvested area data will be more accurate and timely and through the ASF observation phase information can also be known about the harvest forecast for the next few months. Of course this is very useful for the government in determining policy and is expected to be able to overcome problems in national food production.
