November 25, 2022 | BPS Activities
Can't believe it's already the end of the month. According to the schedule, BPS again carried out a routine survey which was carried out at the end of each month, namely the Area Sampling Survey (KSA). Here the officers returned to the field to observe and take photographs of the land in various phases of plant growth (rice and corn) at the location at the coordinate points.
The Area Sampling Framework Survey (KSA) aims to calculate the estimated harvested area for rice and secondary crops (maize) commodities. The estimated harvested area with the productivity of these commodities will be the production figures for rice and secondary crops (corn) commodities. With the KSA method, it is hoped that the harvested area data will be more accurate and timely.
Through information on the KSA observation phase, harvest estimates can also be known for the next few months. Of course, this is very useful for the government in determining national food program policies.
Keep up the spirit data warriors! sure that your steps in KSA activities will also determine the fulfillment of national food. (PR)
