October 27, 2020 | BPS Activities
Every month towards the end of the month, to be precise the last seven days of each month, the KSA survey is held again.
The Area Sampling Framework (KSA) survey aims to calculate the estimated harvested area for rice and secondary crops (maize) commodities. The estimated harvest area with the productivity of these commodities will be the production figures for rice and secondary crops (maize) commodities.
Still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, data collection activities in the field cannot stop. According to the schedule, the officer returned to the field to observe and shoot the land in various phases of plant growth (rice and maize) at the location at the coordinate point. Of course there is a sense of relief and happiness when you have succeeded in reaching point by point of observation. This is a small contribution from fellow field workers. It looks small indeed, but this will determine the direction and policies in planning the national food forestry program.
Hopefully the data generated through the ASF method can bring changes to improve accurate agricultural data.
For fellow officers, maintain health and safety. Adhere to health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Greetings Healthy. (Jq)
